Two weeks old

Nate is now more than two weeks old. He is a very hungry baby and seems to love being constantly attached to me. We often refer to him as a 'her', purely out of habit. I also call him Olivia quite often when I am feeding him, as they look so similar at this age. He is such a blessing.

Graduation

Charlotte graduated from Kindy this week. She only has about six weeks left before then having a two week break before school starts. I still can't believe she starts school next year. She suddenly seems so grown up. I am so incredibly proud of the little girl she has become. She is very sensitive and caring.

Charlotte receiving her graduation certificate. She said that when she grows up, she wants to become a mum. It was this point in the ceremony that I started crying!

Settling in

Liv has adjusted alot better than I thought. She is very considerate of Nate and loves to watch me feed him.

This is pretty much all Nate does of a day.

While Nate sleeps, the girls have been spending lots of time in the pool and outside shower. It has been so hot! They have been swimming three or four times a day.

Welcome Baby Nate

We are so excited to welcome Nate Winston Kelly into the world. He was born at 12:45pm on Wednesday 21 November 2012, weighing 9 pounds 10 ounces. We are all so in love with him.

Bedrooms

Liv has settled in really well to her new bedroom. She is now in a big bed although she has fallen out a few times. She often wakes up early in the morning but is content just playing in her room for an hour or so until it reaches a more civilised hour.

Charlotte generously donated her doll's house to Olivia. Although she did say that the more she gives away, the more presents Santa will bring her.

This is Charlotte's room. Nothing has changed much here, except for the  ever growing colony of pillow pets on the right bedside table.

And this is the room for the new addition. The beauty about never knowing the sex of the babies is that the decor stays exactly the same.

Sisters

I can't believe that Liv and Charlotte, but especially Liv, will be big sisters in a matter of weeks. They are polar opposites in personality but still get along so well.

This is what happens when you never introduce a dummy to your baby!

Rainy days

We finally had some rain after many months of dry weather, which is lucky for us given we are not connected to town water. The girls decided they wanted to put their gum boots on and go running through the puddles on our street. They had so much fun!
