Freestylin'

Today is officially the last day of summer although you wouldn't know it. We are forecast to have a hot week so hopefully we can continue to make good use of the pool. I will really miss summer as Charlotte has enjoyed swimming. The aim was to get her swimming confidently from one end to the other. She has surprised us all. She must have been watching her cousins swim as she has now started to do freestyle instead of dog paddle. Just don't ask her to swim in a straight line!

Visiting Nanny and Pop

Charlotte was very excited to go and spend some time down the coast with Nanny and Pop. The weather was amazing. Charlotte seemed to be in the pool all the time. She is getting really good at swimming and easily makes it from one end of the pool to the other.




Perhaps not a photo which would be endorsed by SIDs but during tummy time Olivia fell asleep. She looked so peaceful and slept in this position for two hours.



Charlotte's cousins came over for a play. Here she is with Gracie.

Cousin Emma was very interested in Olivia.

Out on the boat

Last week we spent some time at the coast visiting Nanny and Poppy. It was the perfect opportunity to take Charlotte out on the boat. She even had a go at steering the boat and absolutely loved going fast.

It was a beautiful sunset.
