Charlotte turns the big Zero One

Charlotte turned one on 1 April. The past 12 months have gone so quickly yet I can't recall what life was like pre-Charlotte. She brings joy to our lives everyday with her smiles. I don't think either of us thought parenthood would be this rewarding.

Charlotte on her birthday morning.

She seemed more interested in the instruction manual than her toy.

We call this photo 'Charlotte in thought'.

Birthdays are sooooo tiring.

Frenzal comes in handy for some things.

On her birthday night.

Charlotte does Hitler.

On 4 April, we had a party at home so Charlotte could celebrate her milestone birthday with family and close friends. This is a photo of Charlotte before the party hanging out with her Nanny.

All dressed ... just waiting for the guests.

The kids had heaps of fun painting and playing soccer.

Did someone say, "Cake!"

The party was jungle themed so we decided on an elephant cake. It took quite awhile to ice it but we think it turned out pretty good.

We love this photo of cousin Gracie. We are pretty sure she had a good time! It epitomises what parties are all about.

Charlotte was so tired after her party that she didn;t get to open most of her presents until the next day.
A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SENT CHARLOTTE BIIRTHDAY WISHES AND WHO MADE HER FIRST BIRTHDAY SO VERY SPECIAL.
