Introducing Olivia Harper Kelly

Welcome to the world Miss Olivia Harper Kelly, born at 5:48pm on 23 December 2010, weighing 9 pounds, 2.5 ounces and measuring 56 cm long. I don't know how we keep producing these long babies. We came home on Boxing Day - it is so nice to be home and Olivia is settling in very well.

Charlotte and Olivia have a cuddle before we leave hospital.

This was taken a couple of hours after the birth - I think I was still in awe of Miss Olivia.

Family holiday

We managed to sneak in a family holiday at the end of October and spent the week at the coast.

We visited the Ginger Factory and Super Bee. Charlotte loved seeing the bees making the honey and, of course, eating the honey.

We swam every day at the beach. Charlotte was so worn out that day time naps lasted hours and hours.

We bought Charlotte a boogie board and she caught her first wave with daddy.

Making friends with the seagulls.

Where have the months gone ...

Now that I have finished work, I have no excuse for not updating this blog. So here is a snapshot of what we have been up to over the past few months. Time has passed by so quickly. It is hard to believe that the newest addition to the Kelly gang will be here in just under two weeks (hopefully!).

Our bird feeder works a treat and everyday we get an assortment of birds at our window: galahs, king parrots, cockatoos.

Charlotte just loves her cousin Imogen. She blindly follows Imogen everywhere and mimics her every move. Here is some cousin cuddle time.

Charlotte and I went to see her cousins end of year school concert. Needless to say that Nikolaus was performing to a Michael Jackson song.

Now that I have finished work, I am trying to do lots of outings with Miss C before the bub comes. We made it to the museum to see the dinosaurs.

And then went on the Eye of Brisbane.

Charlotte had her Day Care Christmas Party last weekend in the park.

We were so surprised that she sat still long enough to get her face painted.

Depending on the facial expression, she looked a little evil at times!
