Chistmas 2009

These photos are in reverse order ... oops.

Here is Charlotte on Boxing Day. She was playing in the rain and loving it. Dad was putting together her trampoline in the background.

With her new gum boots after feeding the chickens.

Playing with her cousins on Christmas Day.

I love this photo of Gracie. She even said 'cheese' for the camera.

One of many presents Miss C got to unwrap on Christmas Day.

With her gardening tool set.

Frenzal seemed slightly underwhelmed by the whole situation.

Wayne, Ann, Rachel and Sarah came over to the house before Christmas for a visit.

Thanks Paul, Emily, Madeleine and Byron for C's present. She wore the dress on Christmas Day and here she is wearing the uber cool togs.

Off to see the Christmas lights.

Santa Claus is coming to town

We have spent the past few weeks getting Charlotte used to the idea of Santa. It seems to have worked, as she did not cry when we sat on Santa's lap. That said, I did have to sit there with her. The hardest thing was getting her to look at the camera! This is the best we could do.

Counting down to Christmas

Charlotte's day care had an end of year party in early December. She cried when she saw Santa but showed no fear patting a snake. Go figure ...

Poor bunny. Charlotte tried to cuddle it so tight that it got a bit scared.

Moving house is a massive task. Then add a 20 month old to the mix and it makes for some interesting times.
In the first few days of moving in, a snake ate one of our chickens. Never fear, Phil 'Steven Irwin' Kelly came to the rescue.
The culprit ...
You can see the snake's big tummy full of chicken.

But, on the up side, we have lots of green tree frog. One lives in our letter box and the other day a baby one was hanging out on the kitchen window. Charlotte loved it.

Down at the new park, checking things out while we waited for dinner.

In just the few short weeks that we have been living at the new place, Charlotte's swimming has improved so much. Even her swim teacher commented. She is so full of confidence (a little too much). But she will go for about 3 or 4 breaths now and seems to float alot better.
Waiting at the gate for mum and dad.

This is our last photo at the old house. So many memories ...

The Christmas tree. Always brings a smile to Miss C's face.
