Nick and Charlotte

Phil, Bec and Charlotte came over for dinner on Saturday night for an early birthday celebration for Phil. Apparently Charlotte was very excited to be coming over and playing and having a bath with 'Bubba Nick'.
If you look carefully - Charlotte has even got her toenails painted (like Mummy).

Water action and 'Hi Madeline'

Red letter day 16th May

Yes we've finally cut a tooth and the one next to it came up a few days later.

You can see it here too - if you look under all the vegemite!

And he's properly on the move - started crawling properly as opposed to dragging himself around or hopping both legs or moving just one and dragging the other.

Just a cute shot - playing on his music table - pressie from me. He loves music.

Nick in action!

More of my mothers group

My ex-dancing friends

Bubbles! (There's at least 6 bubs gone by now). As Wayne said you have to be careful or you'll walk on a baby.
Loot! Looking very pleased with himself.
On his actual birthday - 4th May

I look at these next few photos of Charlotte and I am suddenly transported to when she is 16! Nice to see that she is accessorising with matching hat, shoes and handbag.

These next photos are more in keeping with her age.
Having fun on her swing on the deck.

We went to the opening of the new Samford Tennis Centre. She didn't really know what to make of the jumping castle. Pretty much just sat down and watched the other kids.

Her first tennis lesson.

A 'special' Mother's Day gift

Some mum's get chocolates on mother's day, some get breakfast in bed.

I get home to find out my daughter's ears have been pierced.

I don't mind that she got them done, I just always thought it would be something I would do with her. Will just have to make sure I am there when she gets her first ink!

This is probably one of the few photos where you can actually see her ears pierced. She was so excited and run straight up to me, pointing at her ears, saying "ears pierced mummy".

Splish splash

I just love this photo of Charlotte with her cousin Imogen in the bath. It is so cheeky. Charlotte is always asking about Imogen - I think it is because everytime she sees Imogen, Imogen gives her a 'present' from her room.

So, what's Charlotte been up to?

Hanging out with her cousins at the coast ...

Having a serious conversation with cousin Gracie ...

Putting their differences aside and hugging it out ...

Hiding from all the adults under Nanny's table ...

Eating like a big girl ...

Still eating, like a big girl ...

Spending some time with mum (and watching Friends) ...

Going to Nic's christening (I am sure Lisa will post some better photos from the Christening, Have decided that my camera is crap indoors) ...

Sitting with Rachel and Sarah ...

Lining up with all the kids from the christening in the hope of getting one good photo ...

Shying away from the camera (we were all dressed up and still we couldn't get a good photo of the three of us!) ...

Saying cheese for the camera ...

Eating birthday cake with Carl at Nic's party ...

Sneaking off with Carl so that could eat their cake and be alone (have to keep a close eye on these two) ...

Wrestling with daddy ...

And just when you think she would be completely exhausted, she still finds the energy to battle on Singstar!
