Charlotte's first Christmas

Charlotte, Grandma and I went to church on Christmas Eve. Charlotte did quite well given she stayed up passed her bedtime.

Charlotte on Christmas morning waiting for her presents.

Frenzal decided to help Charlotte unwrap her presents.

Charlotte was more interested in the paper than her presents.

Christmas at Grandma's with all the family.

Cousins Sarah and Rachel put on a dance performance which Charlotte loved.

Playing at Nanny's in the afternoon before all the kids arrived.

It wasn't long before everyone was in the pool, including Charlotte. Cousin Imogen got a baby doll for Christmas that swims in the pool. We laughed at the resemblence to Charlotte!

Charlotte and Gracie got their ears pierced ... just kidding. They are just stick ons!

A special treat for Frenzal

I went to the farmer's markets today and there was a stall selling special treats for dogs. I couldn't resist. Here is Frenzal enjoying his vanilla tart.

Patience is a virtue!

Santa's little helper

Charlotte is yet to sit on Santa's knee but she did get dressed up into her Christmas digs for a special photo.

O Christmas Tree!

1 December means only one thing in our house. Time to put up the tree. Charlotte didn't help much but she seems to like the lights on the tree.

Jolly good times

Charlotte goes nuts in her Jolly Jumper. She wears herself out quickly which makes nap time easier!

Hangin around

Charlotte is loving her walker. The only thing she loves more is when her Dad plays guitar!

Vegemite kid

Charlotte had her first taste of vegemite the other day. The rice cake never stood a chance. It was gone in minutes. Charlotte just loved licking the vegemite.

All gone ... some evidence remains of her vegemite spree.

Now that I am back at work, mornings can be a bit hectic. But I always have the time to get a photo with our girl.

I love Saturday mornings as I don't have to rush out the door and can sit and play with Charlotte for hours.

Seven months young

Charlotte was seven months young on 1 November. We feel so incredibly blessed to have such a happy and healthy girl.

Hanging out in her room. You don't have to work hard to get a smile out of her.

Charlotte went to her cousin Molly's fourth birthday party and had her first taste of birthday cake. Mum (happily) ate the rest.

Charlotte watches the kids swim from the sidelines

With Nanny

Charlotte seized on the opportunity to steal a ride in a walker. She is doing really well in walkers. Backwards seems to be her favourite direction! Cousin Emma watches on.

Phil goes for a ride on the jet ski before the party.

Happy Birthday Frenzal!

Frenzal celebrated his 8th birthday on 26th October!

We celebrated with a birthday candle, although I had to be quick with the camera because Charlotte started to reach for the flame.

Eight years old and still handsome!

Some grey hairs have started to appear on his chin - more so since Charlotte has been around.

Birthdays can be soooooo tiring.

For some reason lately, Charlotte has really enjoyed seeing the world upside down.

Frenzal is the best distraction for Charlotte. Just goes to show that you don't need all the fancy toys that are constantly marketed to you.

More cuddles for Frenzal, although he doesn't seem that enthused by it all.
