Six months old

Olivia is now six months old. She is 95th percentile for length, 50th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for head circumference. She is such a delight and loves people (especially other kids). The past six months have gone so fast - I am a little sad that she is growing up so quick. She sits up by herself now (although still falls back occasionally) and loves the sound of her own voice. I even think she has more hair than Charlotte did at six months (although I am not going to get my hopes up just yet!).

Disney on Ice

Charlotte and Grandma went to Disney on Ice last week (she got the tickets for her birthday). She has not stopped talking about it ever since.

Here she is waiting for Grandma to arrive. She is absolutely obsessed with jewellery at the moment. Wants to wear it everyday and even sometimes to bed.

Bushwalking

The weather has been so nice lately that we decided to take the girls on a bushwalk. Well, actually, it was just a walk in our backyard but given it is 5 acres and you can't see any houses, it felt like we were on a proper bushwalk in a remote area. Charlotte did really well and walked quite a long way. She wanted to stop all the time to pick flowers and berries for the kangaroos (yes, we can perpetuate the myth that all Aussies have kangaroos in their backyard - we do!).
