Charlotte likes to party

This time around, it was Charlotte's friend Noah's first birthday.


I love to have a beer with Daddy, cos Daddy's my mate.

And again, everyone hopped in the pool.

Giving Noah a special birthday cuddle.

That afternoon, I was standing in the kitchen and I looked out the window to see this beautiful cockatoo.

We don't have a photo or video footage yet but Charlotte pretty much swam from one end of the pool to the other this afternoon. We were all very excited for her. The last few weeks she seems to have figured it all out. The arms are paddling, the legs are kicking and her face is in the water.

Party girl!

Charlotte had a few parties to go to this month. The first one was Maja's 5th birthday party. And swimming togs were essential.

On the trampoline. Charlotte has just started to get the concept of jumping with both feet (even on solid ground). Very funny to watch her try to get air.

It wasn't long until everyone was in the pool.

With Maja, negotiating whose turn it is next in the bean bag.

Charlotte has started to dive for things on the bottom of the pool (provided it isn't too deep).

You are never to young to start doing chores around the house. Charlotte has OCD when it comes to leaves being in the pool.

The hair clip managed to stay in a bit longer this time.

Checking to make sure the chickens are all still there.
